Finally Friday

It's Friday.. finally. What a long week it has been. I'm trying to think back as to why it seemed so long and all I came up with was a fight between the BF and I and my first trip to Mohegan. I'll start by telling you about the arguement. So my BF lives about 40 minutes away and being from Rhode Island, 40 minutes is a long time. Not to mention I go see him a lot more than I should, especially since gas is SO expensive. I decided it was about time he came to see me. I mean he has before, but not nearly as much as me. I can't afford to keep going there like I have been. So he came and we hung out, watched the Red Sox and Mr. Jacoby Ellsbury! So he left my house at 11:30 PM much to my dismay. He said he had to get home because he couldn't be late for work. Ok. Fine. I understand that. BUT.. the NEXT night he went over a friend's.. and lets just say when he called me later, he was not in the right state of mind. If someone is so concerned about being late for work, I would have to say going out is not something I would think of doing. This made me extremely upset. I won't give you the details of what was said, but we agreed it wasn't our favorite conversation. All is semi-good and back to normal, but to let you know how good and caring of a girlfriend I am, when I told him he owed me big time, he responded anything, so my quick thinking self told him because he screwed up, he absolutely HAS to give me a list of things he wants for his birthday, because I'm clueless. It's due to me today. HAHA.
Ok. So the second thing that made my week long was not a negative thing like the aforementioned. My Mom and I went to Mohegan to see BILLY JOEL. What an AMAZING man/pianist/vocalist. The show was fantastic, but I'm paying for it now with sleep deprivation. That was my first time at a casino.. and WOW. It was a great start to the weekend (though technically it was Thursday night) and also no babysitting 9 kids this weekend, which is another thing to look forward too. Yes, I did say 9 children, 2 of which being babies but that story is for another day.
