HEY everyone! I heard about this new networking website on Gio & Kim in the morning on 92.3 Pro-FM. It's twitter.com. Check it out!
Anyway, the family and I have found a puppy. She flies in from Wisconsin August 5th! (I know, it's crazy that the dog is coming on a commercial airplane, but I guess that's the way it's done). My last day of work is THIS Wednesday! Then I have 2 weeks off before I nanny for a family that's visiting from England, and then I start babysitting part-time in September. Now I can enjoy my summer and possibly hit the beach! I can't really complain though. Concerts, trips to the summer house, and cookouts have kept me pretty busy. This week consists of the Eagles concert tonight, RED SOX on FRIDAY, and Springsteen on Saturday, with a possible stop at Patriots Training Camp Thursday! Music, Baseball, and Football: the 3 things I can't live without. AMAZING! I'll post some pictures of the pup and such once she gets here and I upload them.

UPDATE
BIG NEWS! I quit my job (well gave my 2 weeks) and my last day is a week from today. I'm still looking for a nanny position, so please let me know if anyone knows of anything. I've come in contact with some families, but it seems as though they haven't been following through. Apart from that, I'm looking for a black female German Shepherd puppy. If anyone knows about anything regarding this, please let me know as well as the nannying stuff.

Well hello my non-existent readers. Today is Friday; the end of the work week. Thank goodness. So in my quest for finding a non-boring job, I've realized that every job has its ups and downs. With my job, it's the lack of things to do. Though, if it were the other way, I'd be complaining that it's too busy. There is no such thing as being content. We always want more or in some cases, less. It's like they say, "I can't get no satisfaction."
On to happier stories.. Saturday is the boyfriend's 21st birthday. I have this thing where my present has to be the best so I spend mass amounts of money that I DON'T have. I got him Red Sox tickets, because like me, he is a fan (just not of Jacoby). They cost a lot more than they're worth so there was a nice chunk of change. Then I went and bought him a neoprene cooler, a Lolita hand-painted Pilsner glass, a first aid kid (as a joke - he's an EMT and now going to school to be a paramedic), a Red Sox T-Shirt, koozie, bottle opener, and shot glass. I think that's it. Talk about being spoiled. And to think we met right after MY birthday. What Luck. I'm also making my AMAZING homemade chocolate chip cookies. Tell me you're not jealous right now?
Anyway, my 13-year old cousin is going through the same trouble I went through a couple weeks ago. He's looking for a bday present for his girlfriend (not that it matters - it's like his 20th girlfriend this year). We're gonig to the mall after work. I feel like when it's your significant other you tend to go overboard and buy way too much. At least that's how I work. Wish us both luck in our attempt to find/give the perfect present.

Happy Fourth
Before I head out to my beloved summer home with my 7 younger cousins, aunts and uncles, and the "other side of the family" I'd like to wish everyone a happy and safe fourth of July!
